After Covid and many skaters moving on to college, The Island Waves had unfortunately fizzled out. In late 2023 two previous Island Waves skaters, Katie Holdagate & Nia Bessey, started this team back up as coaches. With hard work and dedication they have bounced back as a strong and confident team! This group of girls have found a love and passion for being on the ice together. Building skills, team bonding and hard work are what it is all about.

They received first place in their first competition at the 2023 New England Synchronized Skating Open and are excited for their next season to begin!
